There are two controls on the interface involved in searching the database.
This can be found above the layout content as shown in the image. This control toggles Search mode. When highlighted, Search mode is on.
When Search mode is activated the layout will be reloaded, providing an interface through which the user can define search criteria.
The search menu can be found on the left-hand menu below the Sample list. By default the content of this menu is hidden. To show its content click on the 'SEARCH' heading.
This menu provides access to the controls that allow search criteria to be saved and cleared. It also provides a list of all the currently saved searches, with controls that allow the individual searches to be applied or deleted.
